Word values in puzzle caches

A lot of puzzle caches turn words into numbers by adding up their letters, with A=1, B=2 and Z=26. The answer to a question becomes a number you plug into the final coordinates. CacheCrack shows the value of each word, the total, and the digital root.

The digital root is what you get by adding the digits over and over until one digit is left. For 141 that is 1+4+1 = 6. Some puzzles ask for it to turn a big total into a single digit. You can also count Z as 1 instead of 26, or include digits in the total.
